Parties & Events: Lala’s Bachelorette Party

May 10, 2010
The future Mrs. Carmelo Anthony strikes a sweet pose.

Looks like Lala Vasquez are finally going to tie the knot. She celebrated her “bachelorette” party at Nightclub at the TaoVenetian Hotel in Las Vegas with gal pals Kelly Rowland and Kim “Attention Hungry” Kardashian. Rumors of a July wedding had been circulating but judging her recent soiree the other night, maybe it’s safe to say we’ll be hearing wedding bells in un momento? Time will tell!  Just don’t end up being a fiancee for ten years like some other folks Lala!

As the wedding season continues well into October and beyond, brides are in search of the perfect dress for the big day. Fashion houses who design for the bride with a budget in mind, are enabling the i-doers to spend more money on things other than attire. Lines like J. Crew and David’s Bridal can help brides save money. For the brides without spending limitations, they can have a greater selection of designers. Wedding gowns from Amsale, Romona Keveza, Vera Wang, Jim Hjelm, Monique Lhuillier, and others provide elegant looks for brides who want to really make a statement.

The key to selecting the perfect bridal gown is to consider three things: budget, body shape, and theme. You want your gown to blend well with the overall aura of the wedding. In other words, you don’t want to show up to a beach wedding in a huge princess dress dragging through the sand! And let’s not forget the bridesmaids. You want them to look good, but not take over! Select gowns that complement their shapes and budgets as well.

Lastly the perfect shoe is key to completing the overall look. And whether you’re a stiletto diva or flip-flop mama, choose a shoe that fits and goes well with your gown.
