CFB Photos: The Big O Celebration

November 13, 2009
Singer Kenny Lattimore, Singer/songwriter and Real Housewife of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss, Nascar driver Kyle Petty, and singer Anthony Hamilton showed support for Otis Redding.

The Big O Foundation (Otis Redding) presented an Evening of Reflection to honor Mr. Redding, his accomplishments and influence on music. Redding was just 26 years-old when he died in a plane crash along with several members of the Bar-Kays in 1967. His acclaimed hit, (Sittin On) The Dock of the Bay was released just one month after his death and one the most recognized songs of all time. Redding had just six albums under his belt at the time of his death and was deemed to be one of the most influential musicians of all time. Attendees at this year’s event included rapper/philanthropist Ludacris, British singer Estelle, Chante Moore and husband Kenny Lattimore, Kandi Burrus, and Anthony Hamilton.
