Our Social Secretary Desirée Rogers is one chic lady and to prove it, she attended the National Design Awards and hobnobbed with newscaster Paula Zhan and artist Chuck Close. Eva Mendes presented Francisco Costa with the Award for Best Fashion Design (for the Calvin Klein collection).Mendes is also a spokesperson for Calvin Klein.

Two of the Best Dressed Somehow Missed the List

Why Didn’t Desiree Rogers and Valerie Jarrett not make the Vanity Fair Best Dressed List? The two White House staffers have made a critical impact on the Obama administration and Chocolate Fashionistas everywhere. (Personally there’s a few people I think who should have been kept off the list.) The two were featured on the cover of Capitol Life magazine after all, and Rogers also made an appearance on the cover of the Wall Street Journal’s fashion magazine. Hmmm….
