Entertainment: Album Review – Ludacris’ Battle of the Sexes

Ludacris, one of the most talented rappers in music has created a winner with his latest effort, Battle of the Sexes. The 15 disc album is a non-stop party with banging hood anthems as well as romantic odes to significant others. On the album’s debut single and undoubtedly the best club song of the year, My Chick Bad, Luda enlists the quirky rap vixen Nicki Minaj to pay homage to his favorite girl. Monica lends her vocals on the upbeat Can’t Live Without You, while Lil Scrappy goes hard on the Everybody Drunk with a hook sample from Eightball & MJG’s You Don’t Want Drama.

Luda’s amazingly sexy flow and highly entertaining vocabulary are the key to this album’s success. his formula for sex, money, and murder (oh is competition that is), will keep his loyal fans on his team for years to come. Guests on the album include Trey Songz on the Sexroom track, FloRida, Lil Kim, I-20, and Gucci Mane. But the most hilarious track on the album is a mimic of Tiger Woods infamous voicemail call to his mistress on Sexting. On his lucky number seventh album, gotta love Luda’s sense of humor–huge!
